Truly magical place to stay in a great location! It feels like you are stepping back in time when you enter the courtyard. We went a little too early for the pool (early April) and still had an amazing time with our two kids. We climbed in and around the ruins, we walked to the local baker, we ate at the local restaurant L’Assemble (which is great for when you don’t feel like going further afield. Typical local restaurant, good value for money). It was just us, so I can’t say how it would be to share - but we loved having the cosy sleeping cottage and then crossing to the main house for the living room and kitchen (with Netflix, DVDs, etc). There are wonderful villages and restaurants and sites, all within 45 minutes or less - so it’s a great base to explore the area from. Alison and Costas live upstairs, so any time we had a question, we just popped upstairs and asked - but other than that, the place is so huge with thick stone walls, so we really felt private. Definitely ask Alison for local recommendations - and definitely take her up on an offer of a tour of the place! My kids still haven’t stopped talking about the castle. It has been lovingly redone and is honestly stunning. We had a great holiday here, and that was even without the pool - I can only imagine a summer holiday would be even more incredible!

Amazing location in a beautiful village. A tour of the main house was fantastic, a huge amount of work has been done to the place in recent years. Our two boys (9 and 6 years) loved the pool and climbing the hill to explore the fort. The village has an excellent restaurant that was lively with locals and tourists. The bakery was sadly shut for their holidays (in August!) but the small supermarket with a butchers inside was open and was selling some bread. There is also a chemist. Big supermarket down the road, about 10 mins. Loads of vineyards in the area for wine tasting. We had a great day out on the river with kayaks finishing off at Gard du Pont and jumping off rocks into the river. Visited great markets in Avignon and Uzes, both a 20 min ish drive away. A lovely 5 days in a beautiful location with great hosts, enjoyed by all.

Alison and Costas were amazing hosts! We were coming from Andorra through the Pyrenees mountains and faced a variety of road closures and detours. We arrived much much later than expected. Costas came out in the rain to help us park the car and to keep us dry. Alison also left us a bottle of wine. The chateaux was absolutely beautiful. Even though it rained during our trip, we enjoyed staying in and enjoying Provence from the chateaux. They both gave us tips about the area and helped us to plan out our days.

Alison and Costas were very welcoming and thoughtful about the guests, my children loved playing by the pool, we sometimes had to tell them to be a bit quiet, but never too quiet, for the other guests. The rooms are lovely and comfortable for an old French chateau. Lovely location for Uzes and Avignon. Had a great week. Many thanks, The Flowers.

This is such a lovely place to stay and definitely worth visiting. The cottages and Château are beautiful. The swimming pool is lovely with lots of comfortable sun loungers and is set amongst Cyprus trees. There are loads of wonderful details about the property- amazing antiques, paintings and potted plants around the pool. There is loads to do in the surrounding area and both Alison and Costas gave us great tips on where to go. We had an amazing stay and relaxing holiday here. Thanks.
